Professor Peter Saville was awarded the prestigious Academic Fellowship by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) this week for his leadership and knowledge within the HR and Research communities. Awarded to academic or research leaders renowned internationally as experts in the HR arena, the award recognises Peter's significant contribution to the HR discipline.
Professor Saville said "I am fascinated by the impact which personality, ability and leadership has in work. In my career, I have devoted my energies to talent management through my research, teaching and management as a practitioner psychologist in the two companies I founded, SHL and Saville Consulting, as well as by my academic roles at Queens University and Kingston Business School. I am honoured that the CIPD has recognised my work in this way."
