An environmental waste clearance company is recruiting for a ‘hidden gem finder’ in a £20,000 per year part time job offer. The successful candidate will have to search through the company’s collected waste to find any valuable items, which will then be sold. Profit made from all discovered items will be donated to the Wildlife Conservation Network.

The survey, created by totaljobs in partnership with five deaf charities, reveals that the majority (56%) of deaf or hard of hearing employees have experienced discrimination during their career. This has led to one in four (25%) deaf people leaving a job because of a difficult environment.

Pay awards in the three months to the end of July 2016 were worth 2% at the median, according to provisional findings from pay analysts XpertHR. This sees pay awards return to the level seen at the beginning of the year.
