AllTheTopBananas: May UK Salary Map

The latest salary map is in and it looks like the temperature is not the only thing increasing as we head into Summer.

Looking at the trend on our site, average advertised salaries across the UK have seen healthy rises when compared to last month.

Comparing May ‘19 to April ‘19, shows the North East has increased the most, by £3,026, rising from £29,369 to £32,396.

Wales and the South West have also seen increases of more than £1.8K.

Yorkshire and Humber is the only region to have seen no change in salary when compared to April, remaining at £30,054.

Surprisingly, London is the only region to have decreased this month, falling by £1,357, from £42,827 to £41,170.

Despite this fall, London remains the highest salary in the UK.

Abi Bradshaw, marketing executive at Allthetopbananas.com said: “The latest salaries reveal some great news for job seekers. With a huge increase for the North East and a rise in most regions’ salaries, we’re looking forward to seeing if next month can bring even better stats!”
