House of HR selects Coupa for Procure to Pay Solution

Leading human resources management group to roll-out solution in markets across Europe

Coupa Software, a leader in cloud-based spend management solutions, announced today that House of HR will roll-out Coupa’s Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solution across its European markets - Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland and Romania.

As one of Europe's leading human resources management groups with annual sales of more than €700 million, House of HR’s roll-out of Coupa will benefit more than 1,500 of its employees across Europe by providing a flexible and easy-to-use solution that will consolidate and standardise processes.

House of HR plans to streamline its processes to better suit clients’ needs as many European mid-market companies still rely on their manual paper processes. The reliance on paper-based processes makes companies less flexible to adapt to what their customers are accustomed to such as faster project cost approvals and new cost conscious services.

In general, procurement systems have historically been known to support larger organisations, which systems typically hide much of the complexity regarding spend management processes, said Diederik Sohier, chief finance officer at House of HR. “This is true for legacy systems, but in our selection process it has become clear that this is no longer the reality,” noted Sohier. House of HR selected Coupa’s P2P solution as part of an intensive market evaluation, which revealed that the Coupa solution provides key strategic spend transparency that will be accountable at every level.

“Coupa’s integrated cloud-based Procure-to-Pay solution allows us to quickly onboard all our employees into one, single platform that is flexible and easy-to-use for procurement, accounts payable and administrator personnel across the business”, Sohier said.

Coupa’s General Manager of EMEA Alexander Kleiner said Coupa’s P2P solution at House of HR will allow the human resources company to focus on transforming and simplifying its procurement operations to help reduce the complexity and drive the cost down.

“We are redefining the world of business spend through a unified cloud platform and open business network, and we are delighted that House of HR selected us to provide a user-friendly experience for its employees,” Kleiner said

Coupa’s P2P solution provides a consistent interface across both procurement and invoicing modules as well as a common data model that can be integrated into House of HR’s ERP back-end payment systems. Coupa works with any ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday or Great Plains to provide organisations with the measurable value that has long been lacking in cloud-based spend management.

KPMG has been selected as the consulting partner to implement the Coupa solution. KPMG has a longstanding experience in providing leading practices for procurement enabled by technology.
