New research from Punter Southall has found six out of ten employers do not help staff as they approach the age when they can claim their pension.

"The recent furore over HMRC guidance that draws umbrella companies into scope of new IR35 rules may have died down, but the problem hasn't gone away" say the recruitment and employment law specialist Lawspeed and the Association of Recruitment Consultancies (ARC).

The news is full of doom and gloom, worrying statistics and of course acres of space dedicated to the second national lockdown.

The latest employment data from the UK's leading independent job board and newly crowned recruitment website of the decade, CV-Library, shows that the country's second lockdown is impacting the job market far less than the first week of the previous lockdown in March.

June 2020 has seen a record number of new businesses incorporated in the UK, according to figures from ONS.gov.uk.
