Xchangeteam Group acquires The Davis Company to create 6m turnover business

Xchangeteam Group Limited (Xchangeteam), one of the UKís leading people resourcing companies, today announced the acquisition of The Davis Company, the specialist marketing, media and digital recruitment company, creating a 6million turnover business.



The Davis Company will become a subsidiary arm of Xchangeteam Group and will be called Davis Xchangeteam. The Davis Companyís 13 staff, headed up by Malcolm Farquharson, will join Xchangeteamís 30 strong outfit in their London office at the end of September. Farquharson will continue to run the company with support from Xchangeteam Groupís management team.

This latest acquisition comes six months after Xchangeteam acquired BDG Recruitment (now BDG Xchangeteam) in a move to strengthen the companyís design, advertising and digital offering.

Emma Brierley, CEO of Xchangeteam, which was recently recognised at the Recruiter Awards 2005 when it won the UKís ìBest Temporary Recruitment Agencyî category, explained the background behind the acquisition: ìXchangeteamís goal is to be the market leader in freelance and permanent resourcing across marketing and creative services.
