In every activity we all want to know how weíre doing compared to our peers. So Aston Taylor, the UKís Recruitment-to-Recruitment Consultancy, conducted a live poll amongst Recruiters across all market sectors. 
We asked the simple question: ìWhat is Your Monthly Sales Target?î
The poll includes response via telephone, email & the web. In all, 419 people replied and the results were as follows:
No Target - 9%
5K - 11%
5-10K - 17%
10-15K - 23%
15-20K - 21%
20-25K - 10%
25K - 9%
We appreciate this can have different meanings, but our definition is the amount of gross profit for Temps & Contractors or the revenue generated for Perms in a month. Fortunately most people realised this.
44% said their targets were between 10K-20K. Only 9% said they had no sales targets, while 19% need to generate revenues in excess of 20,000 per month.
Maybe you are doing better than you realise ñ and deserve a pay rise or promotion ? Or maybe youíd better start improving. If the average target is 10-20K, you should be generating 120-240K per year and personally earning approximately a third or a quarter of that.
