WCN and Well to Share Best Practice ATS Advice with In-House Recruiters

Leading e-Recruitment pioneer WCN will be hosting an interactive session with recently signed client Well, the UK’s largest independent pharmacy chain, at The Forum for In-House Recruiters (The FIRM) Manchester Autumn Conference 2016.

Taking place on 22 September at DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Piccadilly, Ben Turner, Head of Learning, Resourcing & Talent at Well, and WCN Global Head of Sales & Account Management Julian Ladd will present a workshop looking at ‘Why you must evolve your ATS beyond applicant tracking’ at 2pm.

The session will help in-house recruiters to learn more about why it is vital to make sure that an applicant tracking system continues to evolve, offering businesses a contemporary data hub that covers all the processes involved in talent acquisition, from attraction and recruitment to hiring and even onboarding.

Well and WCN will focus on the importance of doing this, especially with the increase of Generation Z candidates who are continuously joining the workforce and expect frequent engagement to encourage them to take up a job offer. The independent pharmacy chain signed a three year deal to use WCN’s online recruitment technology for its branch manager and colleague, head office, warehouse and pharmacy summer placement hires in April this year. The company, which has over 7,000 employees based in 780 pharmacies across the UK, began using the new system from June 2016.

WCN will also be exhibiting at the event which has a central theme of helping in-house recruiters understand what talent wants, showcasing its bespoke research into these areas and product features that recognise these pressure points. Other sessions will also look at the impact of Brexit, implications of Generation X on recruitment and much more. Interested delegates can book places at http://bit.ly/2ch7fmq.
