Warren Partners boosts growth plans with merger

Leading independent executive search boutique Warren Partners has boosted its growth strategy by joining forces with London based boutique executive search consultancy Atticus Partnership

Leading independent executive search boutique Warren Partners has boosted its growth strategy by joining forces with London based boutique executive search consultancy Atticus Partnership.

Atticus managing director Marcus Lorenzo joins Warren Partners, bringing eight years' experience of conducting UK and international executive search and talent management programmes for FTSE 250, Fortune 500, Midcap and SME businesses.

The move further complements Warren Partners' reach, and is the next step in delivering the consultancy's ambitious growth strategy, which is led by founder and Chairman Joëlle Warren.

We are delighted that Marcus has joined the Warren Partners team. His enthusiasm, experience and commitment to the delivery of ethical search across a range of sectors including consumer, B2B and sport, make him a great addition to our business, said managing director Vicky Lawton.  “We share the same values and commitment to quality and are excited about the contribution which Marcus will make to the delivery of our growth plans over the coming years”.

Added Marcus Lorenzo:  This was a very attractive opportunity, given the resources, research capabilities and market position of Warren Partners.  It's very satisfying to work with people who share the same approach and values when it comes to looking after clients and candidates.

Marcus began his career in sales and marketing before moving to senior sales and training roles with SmithKline Beecham (now GSK) and Unilever, and then joined a European IT systems integrator (owned by Dell and MMC) as European Business Development Manager.

Moving into executive recruitment in 2003, Marcus spent six years as a director at a leading independent executive search business.  He then became a director of Atticus Partnership and its parent company in 2008, leading a management buyout of Atticus in 2009.

Married with three children, Marcus lives in Bath.  His interests include hockey, rugby, skiing, wine, theatre and stand-up comedy.
