VMA Group strengthens public sector offering

Public sector recruitment at VMA Group has been strengthened with the appointment of a new consultant specialising in this field, Tracey Crawford.

Tracey has over sixteen years of experience within both public and private sectors, six of those spent within the communications industry. In that time, she has developed a significant understanding of communication needs in areas as diverse as transport, finance, human resources, information systems and education policy.

She has seen the evolvement of British Rail to Railtrack and then Network Rail, providing her internal audience with strategic advice on issues such as knowledge management, branding and supplier engagement, and change, mass and project communications.

Tracey has also supplied bespoke consultation, strategic planning and general account management support to policy makers at the Department of Education and Skills, developing a range of communications tools and channels and has worked on marketing and stakeholder management for Transport for Londonís East London Railway; a cornerstone project of the Mayor of Londonís 10bn Five Year Investment Programme. Over the years, she has built strong working relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders at Borough, London Assembly and Parliamentary levels, ministerial offices, policy teams, third party contractors, local community groups, and political lobby groups.

Traceyís brief at VMA Group is to expand the Public Sector communications business.
