SilverPlumeís Benefits Library will be Available
on BenefitsCenter Broker Portal



Vertafore Benefits, a provider of software and automation services for employee benefits brokers, and SilverPlume, the property and casualty industryís provider of electronic insurance and risk reference material, today announced the formation of a strategic partnership to provide brokers with instant access to comprehensive information to help design and administer employee benefits and human resource programs for their clients.

Under the arrangement, SilverPlumeís unique Benefits Library will become an integral part of BenefitsCenter, Vertaforeís powerful, state-of-the-art benefits administration application for brokers. The Benefits Library, which contains content specific information on employee benefit programs and state and federal regulations and policies, will reside on the broker portal component of BenefitsCenter. The broker-centric application also includes portals for employers and employees.

The Benefits Library is organized into four components: fast answers, research chapters, laws and model documents. By accessing these areas, brokers will be able to obtain:
ï Specific answers to commonly-asked employee benefit questions.
ï In-depth discussion and analysis on hundreds of benefit issues organized by topic.
ï Current summaries of important state and federal laws, such as COBRA and HIPAA, which affect employers and their employees.
ï Sample benefit and HR policies, forms and procedures.
