Valtera CEO William Macey elected fellow by American Psychological Association

Dr. Macey joins a distinguished body of psychologists to obtain APA Fellow status

William H. Macey, Ph.D., chief executive officer of Valtera, has been elected by his peers as a Fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA) for his achievements in the field of psychology. Dr. Macey received this honor at the APA Convention 2005, held August 18-21 in Washington D.C. The APA is the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States and is the worldís largest association of psychologists.



Dr. Macey joins a distinguished body of psychologists to obtain APA Fellow status. Only three percent of the associationís current membership have been recognized as Fellows. APA Fellows are selected for their exceptional and outstanding contributions to the research, teaching or practice of psychology. Fellows must also demonstrate the national impact of their work, such as numerous research-based publications, leadership roles within psychology or community service within their practice.

Dr. Macey holds a Ph.D. in Psychology (Experimental) from Loyola University of Chicago. A past member of the editorial board of Personnel Psychology, he is a licensed Psychologist in the State of Illinois, a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, and a Fellow and past president of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
