Urquhart Partnership wins substantial contract with TOTAL E&P UK PLC

The Urquhart Partnership, Grampian’s only integrated human resources, training and recruitment company, has secured a substantial contract with the worldís fourth largest oil and gas operator, TOTAL E&P UK PLC. The three-year deal with two one-year options, has rolled on from a previous contract.

TOTAL has worked with the Urquhart Partnership, which celebrated its tenth anniversary last year, since 2001. The new work, which has been managed by Alison Cusiter, the firmís operations director from the outset, is worth five times the initial annual financial fee, which was predominantly geared towards staff recruitment, advertising and response handling.

Since then the scope of the contract has grown significantly. The Urquhart Partnership is now responsible for providing a fully integrated service including; support for the recruitment for upstream staff positions in the UK; the management of the graduate recruitment scheme; the co-ordination of the contract for placement students; the design, development and delivery of assessment centres; and the provision of associated psychometric testing.

The Urquhart Partnership has also been responsible for co-ordinating global recruitment campaigns on behalf of TOTAL and provides a wide range of additional services such as training programmes, one-to-one coaching for staff following a change in role or promotion, and market analysis reports. The firm has also facilitated away days, and provided support for TOTALís 2005/06 graduate recruitment campaign, which involved a UK-wide search for graduates with a range of skills.
