A NEW website, www.ukplacements.com is set to revolutionize the recruitment industry, matching the most dynamic companies with the most talented students over the web for their all important placement year.
The company, which is the first of its kind in the UK, was launched last month and has since signed up more than 1000 students per day. One of the founders is a recent graduate, the other three are taking a year out of university to set up this unique web based proposition.
Co-founder, Adeel Quyoum, 21, who completed a placement at Eaton Corporation, said: The difficulties we experienced before we successfully secured our own placements made us realise that there was a real need for a service such as this.
