UK Nurses like to travel with their job, and then return again, states online recruitment website Nurses.co.uk

The online recruitment nursing jobs website, www.Nurses.co.uk, has reported that almost three-quarters of the nurses working in the UK would be prepared to move overseas in their job.

The lure of a few years away from home, usually in a warmer climate, seems to appeal to any of those with the nursing qualifications that can allow them to spread their wings.

In a recent survey conducted through Nurses.co.uk, 72% of those questioned said they would consider working overseas.

The results may indicate that with the downturn in the economy, a large proportion of the nursing staff in the UK could be looking for better opportunities abroad. The most popular overseas jobs on Nurses.co.uk are in the Gulf States, Saudi Arabia, Australia and New Zealand.

However, interestingly, a further 41% of the 280 registered nurses that took part also stated they had already worked overseas as a nurse. This suggests that UK nurses that travel overseas do like to come back - bringing their experience, qualifications and skills back to benefit the UK healthcare industry.
