Whatís good enough for Arnold Schwarzenegger is good enough for us, says one of Britainís biggest online communities of entrepreneurs as they join in with celebrating Enterprise Week 2008.
Members of UK Business Forums, the UKís most active internet forums for small company owners, are being encouraged to get involved in the government backed initiative by posting in a special section of the website at http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=109
This yearís Enterprise Week, which kicks off on Monday 17 November, will for the first time since its creation in 2004 be marked in countries all around the world. More than 77 nations are due to take part, among them the US where Hollywood actor turned politician Arnold Schwarzenegger will be hosting an enterprise conference.
UK Business Forums members have already got stuck in on the important issues by getting involved in debates on female entrepreneurship and social enterprise, two key focuses of Enterprise Week. Participants are also able to promote their own events and vote in polls on subjects of relevance to UK – and indeed global – enterprise.
Dan Martin, administrator of UK Business Forums, comments: ìAs one of the webís biggest communities of entrepreneurs it makes sense for us to be involved with such a large scale initiative.
ìEnterprise Week is a perfect time for small business owners to let the powers-that-be know what entrepreneurs really need to survive and thrive. Such an opportunity is particularly welcome given the current economic conditions.
ìWe intend on communicating the issues raised in our special forum to policymakers and encourage everyone with an interest in enterprise to join in. Even Arnie is welcome to take part if he wants!î
