International focus set to see firm branch out in Canada, Australasia and Middle East
Leading niche job board, R Engineering Jobs, part of the R Job Network family has today announced completion of its acquisition of specialist nuclear industry job board, Careers in Nuclear. The goal is to extend R Engineering Jobs’ reach into new opportunities in the nuclear and power & energy sectors.

This acquisition is a bold move during a time when many generalist job boards have seen a significant drop in popularity. Says Craig: “While many of the larger generalist job boards are waning in popularity for key hard to recruit industries, the highly specialized niche job boards are going from strength to strength. The key to this is relevance. Job seekers don’t want to waste time trawling through hundreds of irrelevant job postings, and employers want to make sure they are reaching the best quality candidates through vacancy and brand advertising.

This acquisition is part of a much wider strategy including the re-development of R Oil & Gas onto a new platform that is already delivering over 100,000 of monthly visitors and 3000 relevant monthly registrations, this brings our monthly engineering based job seeker registrations to nearly 20,000 new registrations every month. Over the coming 12 months, R Engineering Jobs will be launching a number of new technically based job boards that complement and add value to the core business and client base both in the UK and internationally.
Craig Bines and his team have set themselves ambitious goals and plan to grow the revenue of the business by approximately 350% year on year. They also plan extensive investment into branding, staffing, technology and overseas offices in Canada and the Middle East within the next 12 months.
