TwitterJobSearch Launches New Feature to Kill Job Spam

First Real-Time Job Search Engine to go Beyond the Tweet

At the Social Media in Recruitment Conference: TwitterJobSearch, the first real time job search engine, launched its Beyond the Tweet functionality to eliminate spam from the job seekers experience. Beyond the Tweet will present relevant data to job seekers gathered from the pages linked to in Tweets. Using contextual intelligence, the TwitterJobSearch search engine will present a small preview window with the most relevant parts of linked pages, not simply the first 400 characters. This solves several of the most critical issues with social media search engines:

* Limited data (140 Characters) - The product allows individuals to see 400 characters of relevant job info

* Easily Gamed/Spammed (Lots of HashTag and Keyword spam) - Allows individuals to see a relevant snap shot of the page that is being linked to

* Shortened URLs - Many tweets link to pages that aren't relevant

TwitterJobSearch.com is committed to delivering the best user experience for realtime search. In addition to our new Beyond the Tweet functionality, the company uses sophisticated natural language tools and metadata to turn the snippets of conversations found on social media sites into information:

* Grab and Associate key Meta Data - the product spiders linked pages to validate a tweet and to grab metadata to associate it back with the tweet. This turns data into actionable information, i.e. the tweet we're thinking of hiring an associate can be turned into marketing associate wanted at X Company in X city in X sector

* Use Natural Language Tools to evaluate Tweets - The product doesn't rely on keywords or hashtags since they are easily gamed are not a scalable technique to determine relevancy. We look at the words that are tweeted in context in order to evaluate the intent.

* Relevancy Algorithms - The product knows the intent of the information seeker and use that to guide our relevancy algorithms (we look at geography, recency, our version of a tweetrank, and other dimensions to do this)

Real-Time search brings many new challenges to the already difficult task of building a search engine; commented Bill Fischer, Co Founder of TwitterJobSearch. We're focused on making sure that we get the best data and offer the best user experience - going beyond the tweet, will allow us to deliver the most relevant and spam-free search results of any social media search product.
