Travis Software Corp announced today the availability of WebCOBRA.comís July ’06 upgrade. The new version offers more enhanced features, including EFT/Credit Card Payments, Broker Billing, and Quick Certs for easy printing of HIPAA Certificates of Creditable Coverage.
The newly enhanced version of WebCOBRA.com allows for more control over reporting capabilities. Online Payment Functionality has been added which allows WebCOBRA.com users the ability to turn on and off ACH processing (electronic checks) and Credit Card Processing. Convenience Add-On Fees can be set for electronic payments. If enabled, Client/Employers as well as QBs can make ACH/Credit Card payments. If you choose to not use an online payment processor, then all electronic payments can go into an offline queue for manual processing.
Third Party Administrator users of WebCOBRA.com now have the ability to invoice a third party for the client/employers in the system by utilizing brokers. Designed to invoice an insurance broker, users can run invoices for all client/employers at once producing a consolidated invoice. Users can also save time and money by emailing the invoices.
With the July ’06 Release HIPAA Certificates may be produced on an ad hoc basis now. Users may wish to produce certificates for individuals for whom they do not wish to generate COBRA Election Notices or for current COBRA General Notice Employees.
