Totaljobs.com, in partnership with Bernard Hodes Group and the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR), is launching a series of exclusive debates called, “Graduate Answer Time”.
The events will bring key personnel from within the graduate and education sectors together on a panel to debate key issues affecting the industry today. Graduate recruiters will form the audience and will have the opportunity to ask the panel key questions on issues that matter to them.
The first of the events will be on 6th April and will be chaired by TV news presenter, Krishnan Guru-Murthy. Krishnan will be joined on the panel by representatives of the AGR, Russell Group, Million+, Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services, and graduate recruiters. They will take questions on the following issues:
- How the graduate market is set to change in the coming years
- How universities, school leavers and businesses need to adjust to the new tuition fee structure
- What are recruiters looking for from today’s graduates
- Who’s role is it to ensure that UK graduates are leaving university with the right skills
Totaljobs.com will be unveiling new research, having polled 150 graduate recruiters and over 400 recent graduates to gauge their view of the jobs market and whether those at university are going to emerge better prepared for the world of work.
