The latest version of Topaz Financials ñ featuring a number of significant enhancements to both the core product and key modules ñ is to go on display for the first time at Softworld.
New features of the main package include -
Faster and more automated electronic cash allocation
Inter company cash book journals
Excessive foreign exchange variance and overdue transaction alerts
Extended escalation process within the authorisation kiosk
New transaction replication or reversal facility and new supplier authorisation
The Topaz development team has also made changes to the ëstockí, ëpurchase order processingí and ëjob costingí modules. These additions include -
Order Authorisation ñ helping to fully control ordering limits in the purchase order processing module, available as both a web and client server option
Data Collection ñ with hand held devices now fully supported throughout the stock control module to record all stock movements
Stock Labelling ñ variable sized stock labels can now be generated including bar codes and up to three images such as a company logo or product image
Sales Invoicing/Claims Retentions ñ providing invoice generation and an audit trail within the job costing module relating to claims submitted to the customer
The Topaz Manufacturing module has also been improved, with hand held wireless devices fully supported for enhanced data collection, and additional new features including ñ
Machine Capacity Planning ñ as jobs are accepted the predicted hours required are automatically loaded against machine capacity
Material Requisitioning ñ now fully integrated with stock control with store requisitions automatically created before the jobs are excepted into production
Tool Register ñ allowing tool issues and returns to be recorded against each job, with a full audit trail showing the usage history of each tool
