TMP Worldwide Directional Marketing was recently honored for Yellow Pages advertising innovation and creativity at the 2004 Industry Excellence Awards sponsored by the Yellow Pages Association(TM) (YPA).
The award recipients were announced at the 2005 Power of Yellow Pages annual conference and exhibition held this year in Las Vegas. The YPA annually honors Yellow Pages and advertising innovators in publishing, marketing and associated companies that comprise the $26 billion annual worldwide directory advertising industry.
TMP received two Gold Awards in the Certified Marketing Representative category for the following:
Bank of America In-Column Testing - Process Innovation category
Childtime Display Ads - Advertising within Print Directories, Creative Design category
These awards are truly a testament to our agency’s commitment to innovation and a creative product that delivers a tangible increase in business for our clients, said Stuart McKelvey, President of TMP Worldwide Directional Marketing.
The testing TMP conducted for Bank of America persuaded the company to augment its Yellow and White Pages listings and is expected to increase the Return of Investment for the client. TMP also developed ads for Childtime, a child care and early education provider, to match its corporate identity for warm, nurturing environments, which led to a significant increase in the number of new business leads for the child care provider.
These awards represent our industry’s most creative and forward-thinking campaigns, and it is an honor to spotlight (all of the winners), said Neg Norton, YPA President.
