Thomsons Online Benefits announce the launch of the Darwin Dashboard version 2.0, designed to help HR Directors and Finance Directors prove and improve their benefits provision.
Recent research from Thomsons suggests that whilst reward professionals feel under pressure to demonstrate a link between their reward strategy and profitability, they are unable to do this very well or at all[1].
Thomsons benefits software, “The Darwin Dashboard” – part of the Darwin platform – gives reward professionals the tools and management information to enable them:
- To display real-time and dependable data at the push of a button;
- To make informed and strategic benefits decisions;
- To share their findings at operational and Board level.
The new service, available to all Thomsons’ clients, provides a visual and statistical breakdown of each element of a company’s employee benefits package in an intuitive way. Over 50 standard charts are instantly available, with many more able to be created. Benefit spend, benefit eligibility and employer national insurance savings are amongst the most popular charts viewed. The analysis can be compared over time and broken down by gender, age groups, salary band, length of service and office location. Charts can be viewed online, saved, printed or copied to the clipboard to add to other Microsoft Office documents such as Board reports and presentations.
Jim Cowan, Senior Consultant, Reward at RBS Group commented: “This takes Thomsons’ product to a whole other level. I look at this and I say: what does this tell us about our HR model?
Scott Heyhoe, Product Director at Thomsons comments: “We asked HR Directors what are the strategic decisions about their benefits offerings that keep them awake at night. What they told us was that many of those questions could be answered by rapid and clear access to management information. This latest addition to the Darwin platform is built on this direct feedback from our clients and helps them to answer the questions they are frequently asked by their Board/senior management teams. It gives them all the ammunition they need to prove the return-on-investment for their reward spend and to hone their future strategy.”
Darwin Dashboard 2.0 will be released at Employee Benefits Live on 28th September, on stand 217.
