Third annual New York Times Job Market

Tribute To Nurses awards reception to recognize nurses who make a difference

The New York Times announced today that its third annual New York Times Job Market ìTribute to Nursesî awards reception program will be held on Nov. 18 at The Sky Club in New York. The event recognizes nurses, from across the country, for their extraordinary achievements in the nursing and health care professions. The eventís special guest speaker will be Dr. Emily Senay of CBS News TVís ìThe Early Show.î

The awards reception will honor four nurses who have made a special impact on the lives of their patients or colleagues. Two nurses nominated by patients and two nurses nominated by colleagues will be recognized at the awards reception and in a special advertising section in The New York Times Magazine on Nov. 20, that will reach 5 million readers nationwide.

The Magazineís special section will provide an ideal environment for recruiters and healthcare organizations to reach nursing candidates across the nation. The Times is also offering sponsorship packages and promotional opportunities for the nursing awards.

The New York Timesís ìTribute to Nursesî awards program is being supported through a print campaign in The New York Times and online at nytimes.com/jobmarket.
