Online recruitment website JobServe.com is celebrating its continued
commitment to excellence in candidate service -and is boasting some big numbers
in the process.

Launched in 1994, JobServe was the world’s first online recruitment website.  From its birth, JobServe has prided itself in its pursuit of
providing the best candidate service and, in doing so, delivering first-class
solutions to its customers.

Another JobServe first was the delivery of job
recommendations via email.
JobServe then improved on this further with its patented Alchemy
matching technology.  Provided free
to all candidates, Alchemy uses artificial
intelligence
to look for jobs that match the candidates skill set, but that
they might have missed through their jobs-by-email criteria.

Since its release Alchemy has made over 69 million job recommendations to candidates – that’s one every 2 seconds
This has resulted in excess of 7
million additional job applications
– applications that candidates might
otherwise have not made.  As a
direct consequence of this, thousands of additional
candidates have successfully found new employment, with thousands of additional
customer job roles being filled – all through JobServe.

JobServe is internationally
recognised
for its dedication towards delivering the highest quality
service to its candidates, and is currently shortlisted for the Onrec 2011
“Service to Candidates” award.

Wendy Cowell, Global Online Sales & Business
Development Manager, commented “At JobServe we are very proud of the candidate
experience that we provide.  As
well as being good for our candidates, this has also served JobServe well.  We have a fantastic database of loyal,
high-quality candidates.  This, in
turn, is extremely advantageous for our customers who are able to use our
powerful resume search products to access this phenomenally valuable resource.”

Cowell continued “At JobServe we have a long line of
‘firsts’.  We were the first job
board with an iPhone app featuring a full in-app application process - we
produced the first job app written specifically for the iPad.  For many years, we have offered our
candidates quick registration through resume parsing – something that some of
our competitors are only just adding to their sites.”

Clearly excited about what 2011 would hold in store for
JobServe, Cowell concluded “I can guarantee this year will see more ‘firsts’ from
JobServe – both in terms of services for candidates and products for
customers.   Our Research
& Development team are concluding a number of exciting projects, and I
cannot wait to introduce them to the world.”
