TheLadders.co.uk (www.theladders.co.uk), the management jobs and careers site catering exclusively to executive job seekers, has this week topped 300,000 members, doubling its member base in less than one year.

The site which launched in the UK in January 2008 to specialise in 50K jobs, has experienced a massive 140,000 increase in members during 2009, due both to the economic landscape and the brandís increasing profile and credibility amongst job seekers and recruiters.

TheLadders.co.uk, which offers a range of services designed to give candidates the tools they need to secure a top-level job has seen particular growth in its CV critiquing and rewriting business as executives seek to stand out in an extremely competitive job market. However, the site has also experienced a steady stream of new roles posted by recruiters as they seek to sift through the many thousands of candidates now in the market.

Derek Pilcher, Managing Director of TheLadders.co.uk, says: ìThese are extraordinary times for the recruitment industry. It seems that our specialization in senior jobs and job-seekers has enabled us to win with both of our core markets. Jobseekers know that they are getting a tailored career service whilst recruiters know that they can access the UKís top tier talent through the site.

TheLadders.co.uk and TheLadders.com have grown into the largest specialty employment website in the world, with over 3,700,000 members and over 35,000 recruiters. TheLadders.com is headquartered in New York with European headquarters in London. To see more, please visit www.theladders.co.uk
