TheCareerEngineer has been re-launched following extensive development to update the site and improve results for both recruiters and jobseekers.

TheCareerEngineer is a leading UK recruitment website for the engineering sector. The site covers all industry sectors including construction, civil engineering and oil and petrochemicals.

Recruiters now benefit from a new client interface and enhanced job posting facilities. Providing increased prominence, the new job listing on TheCareerEngineer combines natural and sponsored listing technology in one, generating greater visibility for jobs.

Also on offer are display jobs - an innovative way of further enhancing jobs by including presentations, photography and video, enabling recruiters to connect with potential candidates before they apply.

As reported in the latest NORAS survey, TheCareerEngineer has over 135,000 registered candidates and receives 89,000 visits from over 68,000 unique users a month. The site generates more than 6,000 applications a month from top engineering professionals.

Engineering jobseekers are able to post multiple profiles and CVs on to TheCareerEngineerís database – improving their chance of being headhunted or contacted by direct recruiters.

Advanced search functionality has improved the relevance for jobseekers as they can now specify the job category, type and location as well as keywords. They can then sort opportunities by relevance, salary or the date posted reducing the time spent searching for the ideal role.
