The Security Watchdog Advisory Bureau, the new consultancy and risk assessment arm of the pre-employment screening business of The Security Watchdog, has launched a BS 7858:2006 (Security screening of individuals employed in a security environment – Code of Practice) Workshop following on from the success of its ëImmigration Workshopí product.
The new 1 day course is aimed to enhance the screening skills of HR professionals, as well as provide practical guidance on how to overcome typical screening challenges whilst remaining compliant with the British Standard.
In response to organisations seeking to reduce overhead through process efficiencies, the course equips delegates with the screening tools and current know-how to achieve this. Ewan Tweedie, Associate Director of The Advisory Bureau states: ìThe Screening Bureau is recognised as one of the leading pre-employment screening agencies in Europe, and we have captured their Best Practice methodologies in developing this unique Workshop. Delegates are presented with a suite of referencing documents covering every scenario and company application forms are reviewed to ensure they are fit for purpose. Moreover, delegates have the opportunity to work alongside expert screening staff within The Screening Bureau to put theory into practiceî.
