Patrick Newbound & Rachel Burrows of saleswork.co.uk are please to announce the completion of building the saleswork web site. To say completed would suggest the website wasnít working or finished or fully available to use before now and this is fairly true. Saleswork was in research and development mode until Saturday 18th June 2005 (although it has been and continues to be the number 1 website in the UK for sales jobs for the last 20 months). But now the finished website is really, finally, completely, absolutely and most certainly completed.

Is it the same website? Yes and No!.

Yes: Because it still offers (and will always) a free to advertise and free to apply advertising platform for recruiters and employers.

Yes: Because it is still number 1 on google for sales jobs

Yes: Because ìif it isnít broken, why fix itî?

Yes: Because the site is easily identified with sales professionals and continues to do so.

Yes: Because it delivers free candidates back to the advertiser (our way of saying thank you).

And No.

No: Because paying advertisers now enjoy privileged web position.

No: Because candidates can apply direct to the paying advertiser without registering a CV first.

No: Because our visitor statistics have doubled in the last 10 days.

No: Because we have a new logo

No: Because we separated the South East England in to concentric districts.

No: Because we added a key word search

No: Because we upgraded the candidate registration system.

No: Because nearly every major job board in the UK is working very hard indeed to catch up.

When saleswork first went live we had almost no competition now we have a variety of websites competing for the same traffic, ironically the more competition the more traffic, the more candidates and the more advertisers register with us.

To explain how the website is different (apart from the logo) would be a long and painful read (a bit like a car manufacturer waxing lyrical about their new model, even though it looks just like the old one!). To be honest the new site doesnít look a bit like the old one and itís probably a good thing too!
But for how long till itís changed again?
