The Intelligent Recruitment Directory, part of the Keen Thinking Group, is pleased to open its website www.intelrecdirect.com to the Recruitment Industry on Monday 12th June 2006.

We are a unique, exciting and highly proactive website that brings together like-minded recruiters throughout the UK and beyond, offering all participants the rewards gained through the strength in numbers of networking in a one-stop, friendly, online environment.

The concept was born from our own prior experience as a small, independent consultancy working in the contingency market-place. With the desire to make best use of the vacancies and applications coming our way, we required a refreshing and ambitious portal whereby pooling the resources of other like-minded recruiters, we stood a stronger chance of filling more vacancies and placing more candidates.

So we set about designing such a place where we could unite recruiters far and wide, across every industry sector, on the basis of a mutually agreeable fee share arrangement. By encouraging co-operation within the consultancy market place, we are in turn, assisting them to fill more jobs, place more candidates, secure more attractive advertising and supplier rates and ultimately increase revenue and subsequent profit.

It must be stressed that a little extra time, effort and pro-activity is required on the recruiters part, as the site is a means to ìintroduceî recruiters to each other. However, rest assured, from experience its very worthwhile and extremely satisfying going that extra mile for your customer. The end result is anticipated to be a very rewarding win-win for all participants.

Networking at The Intelligent Recruitment Directory is optional, although encouraged given the many advantages it brings. Recruiters can however opt out if they so wish with no argument.

We set ourselves a number of tasks in other areas. Firstly to create the ìultimateî recruitment directory and through time this will take shape to promote agencies, consultancies and industry suppliers. Further, to aid the recruitment process for our members, we have incorporated other services and benefits including a fully integrated job board. A new and unique CV search facility will be launched very soon. We will also be promoting preferred supplier services at discounted member rates with a number of industry providers. These savings clearly make a real difference to any consultancy, more so the smaller recruiter or start-up consultancy.

Recruitment is constantly evolving. The Intelligent Recruitment Directory concept is committed to continually developing its services to its members and encouraging recruiters to look to a positive future where industry co-operation benefits all.
