More women than men will make the big household financial decisions by the middle of this century according to a new report by the Future Foundation for NS&I.
In 1957, womenís wages were far lower than they are today, and were often considered a mere supplement to the household income. While womenís incomes have traditionally been curbed by their role as a ìstay at homeî parent, this looks set to change.
