Novemberís Bank of Scotland London Labour Market Report highlighted further rises in permanent staff placements and temporary staff billings in the capital.
Growth of permanent placements eased slightly since the previous month, with agencies reporting that skill shortages had contributed to weaker rises in staff appointments. The latest increase in temporary staff billings was the strongest for almost six years and the rate of expansion was above the UK average.
At 61.0 in November, the reportís unique ëBarometerí was down from Octoberís high (61.4), but continued to signal a strong improvement in labour market conditions in London.
