TEDS, Inc., originator of the only fully integrated enterprise-wide talent management solution, today announced highlights from their exclusively sponsored event.

The TEDS Consortiumóa dynamic, collaborative forum of human capital experts from over a dozen world-class companiesóis dedicated to the continuous innovation and improvement of TEDS enterprise-wide talent management solutions. It plays an essential role in reviewing and upgrading product functionalities, recommending the creation of new talent management products and services, and accelerating product development through TEDS Fast Track solutions. Members of the TEDS Consortium include Boston University Corporate Education Center, DaimlerChrysler, Dominion Resources, Eastman Chemical, Norfolk Southern, Nortel, Sandia National Laboratories, Steelcase University, Verizon, and TEDS.

Discussion centered on TEDSí product focus and future strategic plans. Emphasis was on talent management, specifically addressing the recent summit TEDS sponsored, and the need for comprehensive talent management, both in process and in software. A product development update delivered highlights of the recently released TEDS 7.7, and features of the upcoming TEDS 8.0 in 2007. Product discussions centered on expanding functionality, and included further enhancements to Succession Management.

The TEDS Consortium plays an essential role in reviewing and upgrading product functionalities, recommending the creation of new talent management products and services, and accelerating product development through TEDS Fast Track solutions.
