Technojobs are honoured with the announcement that they have been nominated as a finalist in the 2009 National Online Recruitment Awards in the category ìBest Specialist (Niche) Job Boardî.

There are thousands of specialist jobsites in the UK, so to be a finalist is a fantastic achievement. Additionally, Technojobs are the only IT specialist jobsite to be nominated in 2009.

The National Online Recruitment Awards received almost 25,000 nominations for 654 separate recruitment websites this year. These awards mean Technojobs have been recognised by their users, clients and peers as a market leading specialist jobsite.

This nomination caps an excellent year for Technojobs, who recently successfully launched eleven new niche IT and technical sites, creating a targeted network of sites for advertisers.

Technojobs and their respective network of sites are now No.1 on Google for hundreds of top key search terms on Google, generating high calibre specialist candidates. There are over 10,000 jobs live and there are over 125,000 registered specialist candidates.

Anthony Sherick, Head of Sales and Marketing at Technojobs said, ìBeing nominated is a massive achievement for Technojobs so we are all very pleased. Despite the slowdown, we have continually invested in organic growth and all our performance metrics, including market share reflect this. Our strategy of specialist and targeted marketing works exceptionally well for advertisers. We will continue to invest over the next twelve months and look forward to an exciting 2010î.
