Through the partnership, Taleo Business Edition customers will now benefit from a default integration to LinkedIn, providing them with the ability to reliably assess candidates by finding which of their own contacts have had experience working with the candidate at a prior company.



Taleo Business Edition is an on demand talent management solution designed for companies with less than 5,000 employees. More than 2.7 million professionals have created profiles on LinkedIn and use it to locate people and business opportunities recommended by their existing network of trusted contacts. Taleo Business Edition customers can now take advantage of this powerful partnership through a direct LinkedIn integration when viewing candidates and contacts in the Taleo solution.
The integration allows Taleo Business Edition users to quickly access the LinkedIn profile of any candidate that applies through Taleo and shows them which of their own contacts has an affiliation with that candidate. It also allows Taleo users to view public references from the candidatesí former managers and colleagues as well as search for independent references for a candid evaluation. Finally, Taleo users can also search the extended networks of fellow employees and other trusted contacts of the candidate, adding another layer of sourcing for Taleo Business Edition users.
