Four of the five organisations voted as having the best online application systems are supported by Taleo’s industry leading technology, according to new research published today by Potentialpark.
According to the report, more than 90% of students and graduates use the internet to look for jobs and careers, and the majority of these visit companies’ career websites. The study also shows that it is more common than ever to apply online.
Most employers use powerful Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to process applications digitally, and Taleo is leading the charge in improving the candidate experience.
Chris Phillips, Vice President, International Marketing at Taleo, said:
“In today’s market job seekers have high expectations of their future employers. Failing to offer a simple, easy to use online application process can mean losing good quality candidates early on in the recruitment process. Taleo Recruiting enables employers to deal with a candidate’s application in a professional and timely manner, making it easy for candidates to engage with their chosen employer from the outset, and submit their information quickly and easily. It also means that those not suitable for the job are notified quickly and efficiently, therefore helping to protect the employer’s brand throughout the process, whilst making the recruitment team as efficient as possible.
“As companies strive for growth, the competition for acquiring top talent will increase so treating the recruitment process as a competitive advantage is becoming more important than ever.”
