Taleo, the leading provider of on-demand talent management solutions, today announced that it is building on the company’s presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with the appointment of Adam Brenner as Group Vice President for the region.
In recent years, several leading European companies, such as BIC, Reed Elsevier and Punch Taverns, have selected Taleo solutions to get a unified view of their workforce and gain actionable insights into their talent management practices. The appointment of Mr. Brenner signals the company’s continued emphasis on the region as a whole, and Europe in particular. As Group Vice President of EMEA, Mr. Brenner will be responsible for sales and operations in the region, accelerating growth to meet the needs of Taleo’s growing customer base and leveraging Taleo’s investment in the latest version of its talent management system, Taleo 10
Mr. Brenner joined Taleo in January 2004 as director of the company’s retail vertical, a vertical that is now Taleo’s largest industry sector worldwide. In 2005, he was promoted to the role of Regional Vice President, and during his time with the company, he has managed each business region within North America. Before joining Taleo, Mr. Brenner held a number of leadership roles in North America, Europe and Latin America for various organisations, including Oracle, Unicru and Ariba.
“We are extremely pleased to announce Adam’s appointment to the global management team,” commented Neil Hudspith, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Taleo. “As someone with a long history of impressive achievement and deep understanding of how to deliver value to customers through Talent Management, Adam is a superb addition to our European team.
“Now, as the economy recovers, companies of all sizes are looking even more strategically at their biggest lever for growth, Talent Management,” said Mr. Brenner. “Our new release, Taleo 10, powers a wide range of talent strategies within a single technology solution. This uniquely positions Taleo to deliver outstanding value to any European organisation looking to adopt talent management solutions. I look forward to working with Taleo’s existing and future customers in Europe to better enable their talent strategies.”
Now in its tenth year of business, Taleo helps companies of all sizes drive business success by more effectively managing and accelerating the development of their workforce. The company has offices in London, Paris and Amsterdam and was recently named as a talent management market leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Integrated Talent Management 2010 Vendor Analysis report.
