Already short listed as a finalist for the Onrec Niche Job Board of the Year Award; SupplyChainRecruit.com has received a Whatjobsite kitemark.

According to Whatjobsite, the Whatjobsite Approved Website kitemark is an initiative developed with leading job boards in the UK, to help employers choose better job boards for their vacancies.

There are over a thousand job boards in the UK. Sadly, too few offer a quality recruitment advertising option for employers. Many are recruitment agency owned websites, many are Zombie job boards, and many more are simply poor sites for employers to use. To help employers better identify quality job boards on which to advertise their vacancies, and working with leading job boards in the UK, Whatjobsite has created the 'Whatjobsite Approved Website' kitemark.

The 'Whatjobsite Approved Website' kitemark is awarded to job boards that offer a quality online recruitment product and service for employer recruiters.

Managing Director of SupplyChainRecruit.com, Steve Crosbie, commented: “We are of course very pleased to receive this recognition of our leadership position. As a business we are very focussed upon delivering results, and value for money to our advertisers.

Many advertisers do not realise that there are job boards, and there are Job Boards! At one extreme there are many job boards in the market that are basically focussed upon grabbing revenue from any advertiser that opens their wallet, and at the other end of the spectrum there is a small proportion of job boards that really invest to deliver value to advertisers. Often potential advertisers cannot differentiate between the two ends of this spectrum, as job boards are not shy to label themselves as leaders, and even fudge the stats to suit. Its really very difficult for the advertiser to choose until they place an ad, and at that point the realisation will dawn as the anticipated response may not be forthcoming.

For us it is not just about advertising, it’s about filling roles. That may surprise some people as it sounds like recruitment agency speak, and we are definitely not a recruitment agency. However, our focus is firmly on selling advertising AND delivering the results desired by the advertiser. We are pursuing a long term strategy and we intend to extend our reach from our current position as the most successful and leading purchasing, logistics, and supply chain job boards in the UK, to achieving similar leadership in North America and mainland Europe.

Many advertisers would be amazed to see the amount of effort that goes on behind the scenes to maximise the return on their advertising investment.”
