ITN Mark, the specialist education recruiter has launched a major new initiative to raise money for childrenís charity, Barnardoís.

Under the terms of the agreement, ITN Mark will make a donation to the charity for every day worked by one of its supply teachers across the UK. ITN Mark consultants and directors will also help to supplement the drive by volunteering to act as teaching assistants for a day in selected schools, working in Barnardoís stores and many other local and national fund raising initiatives. The project is expected to raise over 30,000 in its first year alone.

ìITN Mark has grown rapidly in recent years to the point where it is now arguably one of the leading suppliers of both permanent and supply teachers from both the UK and overseas teacher workforces to UK schools,î says the companyís managing director, Eddie Austin. ìWe wanted to mark our success by ëgiving something backí and because of our day-to-day involvement with the development of young people, it seemed logical to partner with the countryís foremost childrenís charity.î

ìWorking with ITN Mark Education gives us a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of our vital work with disadvantaged children and young people, which is why weíre delighted to enter into this exciting partnership that will actively engage ITN Mark Educationís staff in fundraising and volunteering on a nationwide scale,î says Tom Warman, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Barnardoís.
