Supersize me: Totaljobs.com grabs market share in bumper month

Totaljobs.com has further strengthened its position by generating a record number of job applications.

Applications in October stood at 801,000. Thatís 100,000 more than in September, and 170,000 more than October 2005. Previously the highest level of response generated was in March 2006 with 741,000 applications.

In addition, totaljobs.com extended its reach ñ attracting 1.97m jobseekers in October and achieving an unprecedented 5.51% share of all visits made to UK employment sites, (as reported by industry market monitor Hitwise). This is the biggest share of visits achieved this year by any commercial job board firmly establishing totaljobs.com as a major player in this sector.

To complete a hat trick, totaljobs.com doubled the rate of new candidate CVs attracted in October, giving recruiters a greater choice of new candidates.
