StepStone appoints Erik Schmit as Director of StepStone Solutions, Central Europe

StepStone, Europeís provider of e-recruitment software and services, today announced the appointment of Erik Schmit as Director of the firmís Solutions business in Central Europe.

With over a decade of experience in the European software industry, Mr Schmit will assume responsibility for the Solutions operation in Germany, Austria and Benelux. Current clients for the Solutions business across these territories include SNS REAAL, McDonalds Deutschland, BASE and Deloitte

In addition, Schmit will be charged with maintaining and further increasing StepStoneís share of the e-recruitment software market across German-speaking Europe.

Schmit joins StepStone from MrTed where he was Director of Sales worldwide. During his six years at MrTed, Schmit was also Managing Director of the German and Dutch subsidiaries. Prior to this, he spent five years at Exact Software where he was Managing Director for the company in Switzerland.

Schmit holds a Masters in Business Economics from the Erasmus University, the Netherlands.
