Niche recruitment specialist Maximus has entered the top 40 of this yearís prestigious Sunday Times FastTrack 100 ranking. The ranking is designed to recognise the fastest growing private companies in the UK and last year included the smoothie drinks maker innocent, Tyrells the crisp maker and Littlestar, producer of the ABBA musical MAMMA MIA!
Founded in 2001 by CEO Satnam Brar, Maximus has grown so rapidly by building businesses in highly specialist recruitment markets. Its current divisions cover enterprise resource planning (ERP) in the IT sector and the interiors and fit-out area of the construction industry. The company has also recently been awarded ISO9001, the leading UK quality accreditation.
ìWe firmly believe that the way forward for recruitment is in what we call ëhyper-specialisationíî says Satnam Brar. ìEmployers and job-seekers want much more from recruitment consultants than just a choice of roles or candidates. They want to be dealing with people who understand their industry as well as if not better than they do. And only by focusing on a narrow area can you achieve that on a consistent basis.î
Maximus will be featured in the Sunday Times supplement devoted to the ranking on Sunday 2nd December.
