The 2013 Onrec Awards, now in their ninth year recognises the growth, talent, innovation and hard work of companies and individuals who have triumphed within the online recruitment industry.
The awards event was held at The Grange Hotel in St Pauls, London and was attended by over 350 people from within the online Recruitment industry.
Towards the end of the Awards ceremony, Richard Clarke Director of Red Advertising Ltd who own and operate the Recruitive Technology business, was awarded a special recognition award for technology advancements and services within the Online recruitment sector and was presented with the 2013 Unsung Hero of the year Award.
Commenting on the Award Richard said “It was a bit of a shock to be honest. A number of people were coming to congratulate me after the Awards and it was all a bit surreal. I am absolutely thrilled to win this award. I work very hard to try and make a difference in this industry and it’s nice to be recognised by other industry professionals. The success of Recruitive is not just down to me, our company employs some of the best and most innovative individuals in the Industry, these people are the real hero’s in my book”
Richard was previously shortlisted for the Award back in 2011 without success but due to continued dedication to improving the online recruitment landscape was finally awarded with the accolade this year by the judges.
Winners of awards at this year’s event were judged by a distinguished panel of independent judges including Ruth Owen (CEO WhizzKidz), Steve Playford, (MD, Financial Times Career Management), Laura Stoker, (Exec Director, Global Training) and also the Onrec editorial and production team.
