Sopra Group appoints Tom McCann as head of business in Northern Ireland

Leading European IT solutions provider, Sopra Group, has recently appointed a new leader for its business in Northern Ireland (NI). Tom McCann joins the company as Head of Northern Ireland from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led their IT Risk Consulting division in Sydney, Australia.

Tom will be responsible for developing and expanding Sopra Group's existing business in Northern Ireland and managing the Belfast office where the company currently employs 48 full time consultants across its Application Development and Management, Consulting, Information Security and Testing divisions.

With extensive client service, leadership and business development experience, Tom has worked with Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers in senior management positions and was a Principal Sopra Group Consultant for nearly four years before relocating to Sydney.

As part of Sopra Group's continued investment in Northern Ireland, I will be working with the existing Belfast management team to promote the Sopra Group brand and expand our footprint in the local market, explained Tom McCann.
