Small recruiting business wins RCSA Service Delivery Standard award

.

The increasing importance for recruiters to deliver quality customer service has seen the awarding of the Recruitment and Consulting Services Associationís Service Delivery Standard Accreditation to Brisbaneís Stenhouse Recruitment Services at the RCSA Annual Presidentís Dinner in June.

As a small business, Stenhouse Recruitment made an award-winning impression after undertaking rigorous assessment of their service procedures and processes through an external audit and a review by the RCSAís Standards Council.

ìThe RCSA Service Delivery Standard provided us with the opportunity to truly review our business, documentation, and mechanisms for feedback to ensure we continue to deliver in line with our values and customer expectations, î Rosemaree Ellis, Owner and Director of Stenhouse Recruitment Services Queensland, said.

ìIt is not always easy to allocate time to such an activity as a small business, however, we believe that such an effort is required to ensure the ongoing growth and viability of our business in a constantly changing market,î she said.

Designed to help recruiters provide a service that is consistent with their values, the standard assists recruitment companies to clarify their service delivery promises and ensure that structures are in place to deliver on these promises.

ìSince taking over Stenhouse Recruitment Services Queensland in 2003, it was part of our business plan to achieve a Quality Standard; deciding on the right one was a challenge. Once I became aware of the RCSA Standard, I immediately sought more information.î

ìThe RCSA Standard is more than just a documentation of processes. It delves into the core of the business to uncover what your value proposition is to your customers, ensures what you are providing is measured and feedback from customers is evaluated to ensure delivery is in accordance with your value proposition.î

ìWe would like to thank the RCSA for its foresight in providing the customer service standard to its Members,î said Ms Ellis.

The RCSA Service Delivery Standard sets a high benchmark for service in the industry and by meeting these standards Members are able to show clients, candidates and staff that they are serious about improving customer service.

ìA recruitment company is assessed on the clarity of its service promise, how well it is supported by the companyís internal operations, whether the experience of clients and candidates meets the expectations set for them, and if the organisation acts within the relevant legislations and regulations,î Julie Mills, CEO of the RCSA, said.

Western Australiaís Lo-go Appointments was also awarded the RCSA Service Delivery Standard at the Presidentís Dinner.

ìThese companies now join the growing list of RCSA Member companies who proudly display this accreditation to clients as recognition of Service Delivery Excellence,î said Ms Mills.
