Silicon Valley Group on the Acquisition Trail

The Surrey based Silicon Valley Group are delighted to announce the acquisition of 4mat.com, UK based provider of online technology to the recruitment market.

Based in the City of London, 4mat.com are the UKís leading provider of recruitment web sites, with over 350 web sites delivered over a 9 year history. Their client portfolio includes 20% of the top 200 recruitment consultancies in the UK as well as a number of large corporates clients such as Unilever and NTL. ì4mat.comís market leading status, specialist expertise and highly innovative yet mature product portfolio were very much part of the attraction for usî, says Joint Chief Executive Hilde Bartlett.

Silicon Valley is a privately owned UK Technology Group with a 22 year history, 16m turnover and contracts underwritten by organisations such as Lloyds of London, Local Government, NATO and the MOD. The Group will provide extra financial backing to 4mat.com and the new subsidiary will also benefit from Siliconís experience in delivering multi-million pound projects, outsourced IT and in particular full end-to-end CRM and knowledge management systems. Silicon also brings on board expertise in data security (to levels required by military projects) and 4mat.com will be able to use this knowledge to deliver new and improved information security services to its Clients.

4mat.com is the 4th subsidiary joining this very successful Group. The plans are to keep this latest subsidiary very much free standing within the Group and its Managing Director James Saunders will stay in complete control over all aspects of the business in order to drive the company forward.
