SHL moves online solution development to India

in partnership with HPS

SHL, provider of solutions for the assessment of individuals' competencies and competency potential, today announced it will be developing online solutions and services in partnership with world leading outsourcing company and global provider of IT software services HPS, via a dedicated offshore development centre in India. This will ensure the effective delivery of SHL's innovative and technologically advanced tools.
HPS was chosen by SHL because of its solid track record in developing high quality software to stringent criteria. As a result, the partnership will ensure adherence to the highest level CMM (Capability Maturity Model) standard - a de facto benchmark for assessing and improving software processes.
Andrew Rook, Chief Information and Technology Officer, SHL, believes the partnership will enable SHL to enhance the quality of its world-class assessment and development tools and provide even greater benefits to HR departments: HR professionals bear a huge burden when selecting online assessment and development tools. They have to ensure the solution is fit for purpose and capable of handling the required volumes of candidates as well as being robust, secure and easy to integrate with existing systems.
By enhancing the quality of its solutions, SHL is ensuring its online solutions meet these criteria to simplify the assessment and development process, he continued.
