SharedHR Web-based software has been released for client use

SharedHR, the fast-growing supplier of Web-based services to HR professionals in small to medium-size businesses, said today that the latest version of its powerful, yet easy-to-use Web-based software has been released for client use. SharedHR Release 7.5 features a consolidated, user-friendly interface for Paid Time Off (PTO) tracking of employees, said Paul Finkle, President and CEO of sharedHR. ìNow clients and their employees can go to one place to manage and track paid time off.î

With the latest software release, Mr. Finkle said employees, as well as their employers, can view the paid time off they have accrued and see how the data was calculated. ìEmployees donít have to go through their HR managers for that information,î he said. ìItís a real time-saver.î

As with previous releases, Release 7.5 includes sharedHRís complete library of compliant documents, forms and instructions to help businesses minimize their legal liabilities. Each document is reviewed by attorneys specializing in HR to ensure it complies with the most recent changes in federal and local regulations and court rulings. ìWe provide HR managers with a first line of defense in an increasingly litigious environment,î said Mr. Finkle.

Other features in sharedHR Release 7.5 include:

A new hire introduction to SharedHR, which introduces new employees to the sharedHR Web site and guides them to new hire documents, the company handbook and other important information regarding their employment.

A new model performance review form. Reviews can now be created online - no scanning is required. This feature allows managers to establish employee goals and objectives and give appropriate weight to various performance factors.

2005 Form W-9 for Independent Contractors, which has been added to the Independent Contractor package.
