Leading staffing services company, Select Appointments, has won a three year contract to manage all recruitment needs for Milton Keynes Council, from office work through to social care. Select Managed Services, a division of Select Appointments, will handle the recruitment supply chain through impartial vendor management to generate cost savings and provide a ’one stop’ staffing solution for the Council.
Following an intensive four-week implementation, Select now has a dedicated team based on-site and operates a neutral vendor policy to fulfil vacancies. This provides Milton Keynes Council with a single point of contact for all recruitment needs across the organisation, resulting in controlled costs, a reduction in the amount of recruitment administration, and overall, a faster recruitment process.
Barbara Cliffe, Milton Keynes Council said: We are continually looking at ways to streamline processes and drive cost efficiencies without compromising on quality. Partnering with Select will help us to achieve this by revising and managing the whole recruitment supply chain. We typically recruit anywhere between 25 and 150 per month. Having a dedicated team available within our organisation will enable us to consolidate and contain recruitment costs.
As part of the contract, Select has introduced its bespoke vendor management system, ePeoplePartners, to improve service delivery efficiencies for Milton Keynes Council. This will reduce internal administration, assist in multiple vendor management, consolidate invoices, standardise pay, process paperless timesheets and create tailored management information.
