Select Appointments has appointed Sue Edwards (40) as HR Director.
Sue joins Select from TK Maxx where she was Head of HR - Stores. She brings with her 16 years of human resources experience gained within the retail industry with Rubicon, Arcadia and The Burton Group.
In her new role Sue will be responsible for leading an established HR department of ten, as well as integrating human resources with the overall business. In addition, Sue will be providing a range of services to external customers.
Sue said of her appointment: Selectís business is about people, for people and by people. My goal is to bring human resources closer to the operational side of the business and Iím looking to achieve this by inspiring everyone with topical issues and making HR information accessible, palatable, simple and exciting. This means standardising processes and delivering consistency to create visibility and transparency across the company. A lot of good work has been achieved already and Iím looking forward to building on this with the Selectteam to deliver the best possible service.
